Dear Leaders for National Service,
Today marks the beginning of Senior Corps Week 2017! From May 15th to May 19th, we at the Corporation for National and Community Service are honoring the extraordinary impact that senior citizens make through Senior Corps. Whether its a Foster Grandparent tutoring and mentoring students, a Senior Companion helping a fellow senior live independently, or a RSVP volunteer providing free income tax assistance, Senior Corps volunteers are strengthening our nation and helping those in need.
We'd love for you to join in recognizing these 245,000 volunteers, many of whom serve within your city, county, or tribe!
Send a Tweet thanking Senior Corps volunteers positively impacting your city, county, or tribe. Make sure to include @SeniorCorps and use the hashtag #SeniorCorpsWorks! Here are a few sample tweets:

Did you know that our 529 RSVP Volunteers served 34,553 hours last year; a value of $706,264 to @MissoulaCounty? #SeniorCorpsWorks
